The majority of our street lights have now been converted over to the new LED lamps by RBWM. There have been a few complaints about the brightness of the lamps particularly above the bedrooms of some flats. The council has already dimmed them to 70% as a way to address this. The other way they can reduce this is to put a rear guard on the new lamps. We’ve asked them to look at doing this asap above all lamps above bedrooms which hopefully will be addressed in the coming weeks.
