RBWM is replacing our current street lighting (the ones over hanging the road and squares) with modern LED lighting. They are currently doing an electrical survey which they hope to have complete in the next two weeks. The LED lamps should be installed in the weeks following to that ready for the clock change in October. Once replaced they will be on a smart lamp system that is connected and can be managed remotely (e.g. they can adjust timings, know when they are out, etc).
The rear car park behind Mountbatten Square has had a broken exit barrier for several weeks. The part has been on order and is schedule for replacement the week of the 16th of Sept (if not sooner if part arrives).
