Just a quick update on some things happening around our community:
– All of our street lights have now been converted to LED lamps. They have also been fitted with rear shielding to lessen the amount of lighting that goes into the building. These lights are owned by RBWM (not Radian). -The external stairwell hand rails are being sanded down and repainted over the coming weeks. -The internal stairwell doors which have had wood panels will finally be repainted and also the internal cupboards which have had the trim modified will be painted. -Ramp light in front of the Hope are due to be replaced with new LED units and we are awaiting a date for this. -A section of Mountbatten has been jet washed to see the results of such an effort. We are evaluating whether the cost (high) is worth doing for the rest of the estate.
Reminder that we have a Ward Royal residents AGM on the 12th at the Hope at 7pm.
